Xona AI is building the most advanced AI receptionist for tire shops, seamlessly integrating with major shop management systems. Our solution answers after-hours and overflow calls, books appointments directly into shop calendars, and ensures no customer is ever missed — boosting revenue while saving staff time. With early traction and strong product-market fit, we're expanding across Canada. The tire shop industry is massive, underserved by technology, and ripe for disruption. --- The Opportunity We're hiring our first dedicated Account Executive to own the full sales cycle with independent tire shops and regional chains. This isn't a typical SaaS role — you'll be:

Prospecting relentlessly (cold calls, emails, door-knocking)

Visiting shops in person to build trust with owners

Running discovery calls and live AI demos (the product sells itself when shown right)

Closing deals and owning your pipeline from first touch to signature

Shaping our sales playbook as we scale

Target: 100 new customers in Year 1. This role is built for someone who can hustle on outreach and close with confidence. --- What You'll Do

Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person shop visits

Run discovery calls to uncover shop owners' pain points (missed calls, staffing challenges, appointment no-shows)

Deliver compelling product demos (our AI is intuitive and easy to showcase)

Own your pipeline from first contact to closed deal — no hand-holding

Maintain a clean CRM and track activity consistently

Build rapport quickly with shop owners and decision-makers (often busy, skeptical, and practical)

Provide direct feedback to leadership to refine messaging, pricing, and sales process

Represent Xona AI at local trade shows and industry events (optional, but encouraged)

--- Who You Are Must-Haves:

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with small-to-midsize businesses
  • Cold-calling skills and comfort with face-to-face selling
  • Strong closer with proven ability to self-generate pipeline
  • Valid driver's license (for local shop visits)
  • Resilient and resourceful — you thrive without heavy marketing or a big brand name backing you
  • Experience selling solutions with meaningful recurring value for business owners (not simple, transactional products)

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in the automotive/tire shop industry (or adjacent blue-collar service businesses)

Familiarity with selling SaaS or AI/tech solutions to non-technical buyers

Track record of hitting/exceeding quota in a startup or fast-growth environment

Base + Commission (50/50 split)

OTE: $100K+ (uncapped commission — top performers can earn significantly more)
