Corporate Credit Analyst - Financial Services

Are you ready to take a leadership role in corporate banking? As a Senior Corporate Credit Analyst (VP ), you will oversee the credit management of a high-profile portfolio of North American Industrials clients. This role gives you a seat at the table with senior leadership and managing directors, allowing you to influence new business deals, assess complex M&A/LBO transactions, and directly impact the bank’s growth strategy in a highly visible position.

High-Level Visibility: Directly present your insights to Credit Committees and senior decision-makers.

Complex Deal Exposure: Work across the entire rating spectrum, dealing with sophisticated corporate and LBO structures.

Strategic Influence: Play a dual role in both portfolio risk management and proactive business development/client prospecting.

Portfolio Management: Monitor the credit quality, quarterly performance, and covenant compliance of North American Industrial and LBO corporate clients.

Credit Analysis & Writing: Analyze financial statements, industry research, and lender presentations to prepare detailed credit memoranda for renewals, amendments, and new transactions.

Present credit risk assessments and strategic recommendations to Credit Committees.

Maintain watchlist memos and quarterly monitoring for highly leveraged accounts, and manage internal/external loan audits.

Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or CFA designation.

Experience: 5–6+ years in corporate banking, credit management, or a rating agency, with strong exposure to M&A/LBO structures.

Technical Skills: Advanced financial statement analysis, corporate credit assessment, financial modeling (Excel), and a strong understanding of loan structures/credit agreements.

Soft Skills: Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage constructively with senior stakeholders.
