Job : Under the direction of the Senior Psychologist of the Alvin Buckwold Child Development program the incumbent will provide psychological services to children from birth to 18 years of age, and to their families. He or she will work with interdisciplinary teams to provide assessment and intervention services to children who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities. The primary role of Psychologists within the centre is assessment and diagnosis. The psychologist may also provide research and program evaluation services.
Experience working with children with developmental delays
PhD in Clinical Psychology
Registered Psychologist (RPsych)
Knowledge of educational interventions for children within the classroom setting
- Ability to test children with a variety of developmental disabilities
- Ability to administer and interpret psychological tests
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
