In this role, you'll manage our day-to-day financial operations with a focus on complex reconciliations across multiple systems and insurance carriers. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, journal entries, and trust accounting
- Perform complex reconciliations across multiple insurance carriers and internal systems
- Conduct inter-system data reconciliation and billing verification
- Handle fixed asset management and month-end closing processes
- A genuine appreciation for reconciliation, accuracy, and methodical, process-driven work
- Ability to quickly learn new software and adapt to evolving systems
- 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with demonstrated depth in core accounting functions
- Minimum two years of post-secondary accounting education, with ongoing professional development
- CPA designation is an asset, but not
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in multi-entity accounting or the insurance industry is a strong asset
