Assistant Kitchen Manager

Support and lead your teammates at all times and contribute to the success of the team.
Responsible for assisting the day-to-day operation of Leopolds Tavern under the direction of the KM. This includes assisting in managing operations in all areas of the kitchen and back of house.
Responsible for maintaining the highest standard in food safety.
Determine stock needs assist in interacting with vendors monitor sales and inventory management.
Responsible for helping manage recruit and oversee training all BOH employees.
Maintain and monitor employees shift schedules and job performance.
Help supervise and communicate promotions and train and educate staff on all promotions.
Help place orders with our suppliers.
Delegate tasks manage staff hours (cut times) and assist with scheduling and ordering
Responsible for ensuring every item served is to Leos brand standards of quality and specification.
Minimum of two years of kitchen experience in the hospitality industry.
Minimum of one year of supervising/leadership experience in a kitchen setting.
Experience with ordering scheduling and inventory management.
Demonstrated a use of standard concepts and practices in purchasing inventory and supervision of up to 10 employees.
Work well in a team and ensure a positive kitchen environment.
