At LJ Welding Automation, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier welding automation solutions and exceptional support to our clients. We are built on a foundation of innovation, quality craftsmanship, and a highly collaborative team spirit. We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our Service Department. In this vital role, you will provide administrative support to both internal and external customers, ensuring the smooth flow of service operations by bridging the gap between customer needs, technician requirements, and departmental management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
Managing shipping and receiving operations.
Answering incoming phone calls and providing basic phone support and troubleshooting.
Processing technician requests and providing hands-on assistance to technicians on the shop floor as needed.
Providing coverage for the service manager and offering ongoing support for all internal and external customers.
For your required credentials, we are looking for candidates who hold a Red Seal Ticket as a Mechanic, while possessing a Parts Technician ticket is considered a strong asset.
5+ years of experience in a service/parts role.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service role.
- Experience handling shipping and receiving.
- Understanding of basic mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment (considered an asset).
- Excellent computer skills for order processing and documentation.
- Strong verbal communication for phone support and customer interaction.
While primarily office-based, you’ll spend time in the shop or yard interacting with the team (PPE provided).
Must be comfortable with occasional overtime and working under pressure to meet customer needs.
