Peninsula Co-op is a Vancouver Island-based co-operative with a mission to build strong communities and to benefit its member-owners. With approximately 450 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 10 liquor stores, 3 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. The Co-op generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k each year to local charities. The Co-op remains locally owned and proudly shares profits with its 121,000 member-owners, community, and staff.
Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Liquor Store Associate (we like to call you a Customer Service Representative) at our Keating Liquor Store located at 2132 Keating X Rd, Saanichton. This is a permanent part -time role providing 16 - 31 hours each week. Our ideal candidates would be open to a flexible schedule and must be available for both opening and closing shifts throughout the week, weekends inclusive.

Uses their product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions.
Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds).
Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
Serving it right certificate required in advance of starting.
Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you'll be stocking the store, processing till transactions, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
