Echo Lab UH
Reporting to the Manager, Non-Invasive Diagnostic Cardiology (NIDC) Department, the individual is required to perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms and assist Cardiologists in performing semi-invasive diagnostic procedures including Transesophageal Echo, Stress Echo, Contrast Echo and Pericardiocentesis using the digital echocardiography system. The NIDC department offers a wide range of diagnostic Cardiology procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Regular Part-Time
Rate of pay: $36.84 per hour - $51.77 per hour
Currently Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
Minimum one-year (1) recent related work experience with Adult Echo
Experience in all aspects of adult echocardiography
Knowledge of complex cardiac pathology
Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Explorer, Outlook and Cardiac Information Databases
Ability to establish relationships with patients, families and members of the healthcare team
