The Mechanical Technician is responsible for providing repair and or testing of various equipment as per operational demand, improving efficiency and asset utilization. • Execute equipment lifecycle responsibilities, including Initial Maintenance Evaluations, preventive and corrective maintenance per program requirements, Work Order execution/close-out, and equipment disposal.
• Participate in the continuous improvement culture and initiatives within the Maintenance Base (MB) to enhance asset utilization, reduce downtime, and improve asset turnaround time, including efforts related to maintenance delays, parts and repair authorization processes, failures, and work-in-process.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.

Completed High School Diploma.

• Candidates with mechanical aptitude and a background in routine and preventive maintenance of directional drilling as well as measuring and logging equipment are preferred.
• Candidates must follow Standard Work Instructions (SWI) during equipment maintenance, utilize precision measuring tools, and function efficiently within a shop setting.
• The position may involve working extended hours, and is essential to delivering reliable, high-quality drilling tools to oilfield customers.
