HR Generalist Job Location Mississauga, ON : Primary location: Mississauga, Ontario Relocation offered: Full-Time Travel: No Non-compete: No The estimated base salary range for this role is “$80,000 to $95,000 CAD” per year. The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting employees at the Plasterform manufacturing facility in Mississauga. This onsite position is responsible for overseeing both strategic and day-to-day HR operations, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace for 50+ employees. Key areas of focus include policy administration, recruitment and staffing, employee onboarding and training, benefits and leave management, employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about fostering a strong workplace culture.
Gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR, from policy administration to employee relations and compliance.
HR Service Delivery
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and temp agency partnerships.
Conduct wage surveys and collaborate on compensation strategies.
Provide leadership training and coaching to supervisors.
Guide managers on employee performance, conflict resolution, and discipline administration.
Policies, Compliance & Communication
Develop and update HR policies and ensure compliance with company and legal regulations.
Lead compliance training initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS software.
Associate's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
~3+ years' experience in human resources

Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction setting
Bilingual (Vietnamese and English)
Experience managing HR in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of employee relations, safety compliance, and compensation strategies.
