Accounting Clerk / Assistant

Our Finance Department is seeking an Accounting Clerk in Saint John, New Brunswick! At Bicom Systems, you’ll join a collaborative and growing tech company where respect and teamwork are truly valued. In this role, you’ll work alongside talented colleagues from around the globe while supporting the Finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll preparation, month-end tasks, and general administrative duties.
Perform general ledger reconciliations, including bank accounts and credit cards
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment follow-ups, and bill processing
Payroll administration and reconciliation (twice a month)
Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
Prepare and remit HST and corporate tax
1-3 years of experience in a Finance, Accounting or a related role preferred

• Experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks Online)
• Strong MS Office skills
• A good understanding of financial regulations and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred
