Licensed Practical Nurse - Permanent Casual

We’re currently looking for casual Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team at Casa Mia Care in Vancouver, B.permanent line 2 day 2 evening rotation line As an LPN at Casa Mia, you’ll play a vital role in delivering resident-centered care. You’ll be responsible for assessments, medication administration, and leading care teams to ensure every resident receives the quality support they deserve.

Supporting resident admissions, transfers, and discharges

Completing resident assessments and helping with care planning

Administering medications, treatments, and wound care

Documenting care using PointClickCare and completing LTCFRAI assessments

Liaising with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Delegating tasks to care aides and participating in care conferences and medication reviews

LPN and in good standing with BCCNM

Current CPR/First Aid certification

Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Previous long-term care experience preferred

Casa Mia is a Care Home on a heritage estate property located along Vancouver's Southwest Marine Drive. This expanded and updated heritage home will offer 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River and towering trees. This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a modern care environment with a throw back to Vancouver’s heritage. Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. We offer 58 subsidized care beds and 32 private pay.
