Facility Maintenance Technician I

Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.
As a Facilities Technician, you'll be the hands-on expert responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our company's buildings. Your role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and general maintenance duties. You'll use your practical skills to ensure our facilities are safe, fully operational, and visually appealing. Schedules: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am (must be available weekends)

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC, Generators, Ventilation etc.
Handle everyday repairs and maintenance on site
Oversee contractors in occasions when professional repairs or servicing is necessary
Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and be able to correct them
Work on preventative and reactive maintenance
Bilingual French and English (an asset) and must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident
Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, plastering and minor renovations)
Related degree from a technical college (an asset)
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
Experience performing routine maintenance
