Junior Accounting Technician (Full Time)

We are a Canadian property management company specializing in the management of residential properties. Our focus is on operational excellence, transparency, and delivering exceptional service to property owners and tenants. We are looking for a motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team and support the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
The Junior Bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting with daily financial operations, including the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, supporting month-end processes, and maintaining accurate records for multiple property portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their accounting career and looking to grow within the property management industry.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Assist in preparing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with maintaining general ledgers and journal entries
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field

• 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (property management experience is an asset)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
