Actuarial analyst (remote)

Reporting to the Appointed Actuary the incumbent will participate in performing actuarial liability calculations and producing data for various monthly and quarterly analyses. The role includes reviewing the companys financial health and calculating regulatory solvency ratios (LICAT). Finally the incumbent will contribute to various projects within the department.
This position can be based outside Moncton and offers hybrid or fully remote work options anywhere in Canada.
Perform actuarial liability calculations including coding new products updating assumptions and preparing data extracts for quarterly evaluations.
Validate and analyze results update experience analysis data and support corporate actuarial team requests within deadlines.
Contribute to asset/liability management (ALM) by producing cash flows under various scenarios and assisting with solvency ratio (LICAT) calculations.
Collaborate on corporate projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and tools.
University degree in actuarial science mathematics or a related field with progress toward ACIA or ASA designation.
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the life insurance sector.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong programming skills (SQL VBA); experience with AXIS is a strong asset.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills in both French and English.
