Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with a Nursing Diploma or an approved University with a Bachelor of Nursing.

Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Successful completion of NRP and Fetal Health Surveillance course, or willingness to complete (within timeframe designated by employer).
ACLS, TNCC and Medevac courses will be considered an asset
Organizing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for assigned clients including but not limited to: medical-surgical, obstetrics (pre-natal, labour and delivery, post-partum), special care, mental health/addictions and pediatrics.

Represents nursing on various committees as required.
Participates in quality assurance initiatives as requested/required.
Acts as a liaison between the client and other healthcare providers.
