Administrative Assistant - Accounting Support

A large global accounting firm in Nelson, BC, is seeking an exceptional Administrative Assistant to support their downtown office for a 3-month assignment. We are looking for a highly skilled administrator who is ready to start as soon as possible.

Temporary, Full-Time Hours

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Weekly pay of $23/hour

• Work with a prestigious firm in the field of accounting
• Develop a new network to further your career journey

Reception and front of office work

• Checking T1 Software for status changes
• Correlating tax returns, saving as .Compiling Client package tax return for DocuSign & SFT (Secure File Transfer)
• Preparation of letters and reports using firm templates in compliance with Firm standards (billing)
• Proof-read, review for quality and verify content before finalizing any client deliverables
• Assisting with mail delivery, and other office distribution duties
• Assisting with faxing, filing, typing and other office duties as required
• Assisting Office Manager and Administrative Team with various ad hoc duties
• Electronic file and database management

Completion of a recognized administration/office program

• Previous administrative support experience is essential
• Working in a professional services environment would be a valuable asset
• Proficiency with MS Office 2007 or 2010 applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Takes initiative, takes direction and works well independently
