Full Time Pharmacy Assistant

Pharmasave James Bay #130 is looking for an experienced full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia . Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.
Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
Skilled in using Kroll and highly accurate and efficient in prescription data entry.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
40 hours per week (Full-time)
~ The store operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. Scheduled shifts will fall within these hours.
