Work Model: Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week
Daily Rate: $80 to $100
Hours: 8 hours per day
Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to support a large-scale studio modernization initiative focused on replacing legacy broadcast systems with automated, software-driven solutions. This role operates within an enterprise application development environment and contributes to building scalable, cloud-based applications.
You will collaborate with Lead Developers and Solution Architects to deliver high-quality solutions across both backend and frontend systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working across the full technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to technical analysis, design, and development of web-based applications
Develop, integrate, and maintain cloud-based solutions and APIs
Participate in hands-on coding across frontend and backend components
Perform unit, integration, and functional testing in line with best practices
Support deployment activities and production releases
Collaborate on application support, troubleshooting, and bug resolution
Participate in solution architecture and design discussions with technical teams
Ensure proper integration and documentation of developed solutions
Conduct integration testing across distributed system components
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 plus years of experience in full stack application development
- Strong expertise in Python and Django
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and version control systems like Git
- Solid experience with Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and scaling
- Strong frontend development experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScrip t
- Experience with .NET and C# is considered an asset
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong experience building REST and GraphQL APIs, with OpenAPI or Swagger as an asset
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns such as CQRS, Circuit Breaker, and Pub/Sub is an asset
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit or Cypress is an asset
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
Requirements
Minimum 3 to 5 plus years of relevant experience
Bilingual in English and French
Additional Information
Initial contract duration of approximately 1 year
Potential renewal options may be available and will be confirmed during the contract process
