Monday-Friday - Day Shift

Overtime after 40 hours

A Global Leader in End-of-Line Packaging Automation is expanding its technical service force and hiring an experienced Field Service Technician.

Competitive pay based on industry experience ($40/hr-$46/hr)

Perform Field Service repairs and installations of end-of-line strapping equipment.

• Execute scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work with customers to resolve machine performance issues.
• Accurately diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical problems, developing a clear action plan.
• Provide customer training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Manage vehicle parts inventory and complete service call documentation using wireless devices.
• Must be able to attend emergency calls after hours.
• Must be able to travel across North America and Europe

5+ years of hands on experience with automated strapping and packaging equipment

• Mechanical/Electrical background is essential.
• PLC controls is required. PLC settings (Allen Bradley Control Logics and Siemens).
