The Painting Technician is responsible for delivering high quality painting services and light building improvements at the Heart Home Network. This role combines skilled surface preparation and finishing with hands on painting renovation tasks such as drywall patching and fixture hanging and replacements as needed. Perform minor renovation tasks such as drywall patching, mudding, taping, sanding, and texture matching to prepare and finish off painting projects
Complete small carpentry repairs including baseboard installation, door adjustments, and minor wall or ceiling repairs
Conduct surface inspections to identify defects, moisture issues, or substrate concerns before painting
Assist with moving furniture/appliances around building – 2 person moves.
Building of furniture (as necessary)
Maintain maintenance ticket tracking system
Protect work areas through masking, covering, and proper site preparation
Collaborate with leadership and operations team to confirm project requirements and timelines
3+ years of residential or commercial painting experience
- Proficiency in drywall repair and basic carpentry
- Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques
- Ability to read work orders and follow project specifications
- Training in Trauma Informed Practices
