Speech Therapist or Audiologist

As one of our Speech Language Pathologist IIs, you will be working both independently and as part of an inter-professional team, responsible for providing assessment and intervention services to primarily preschool (and some school aged) children and their families within Central Alberta. Join a team of skilled and dedicated health care professionals, support staff and physicians who promote wellness and provide health care every day, all across the province. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team, which may include external partners. You will be responsible for providing prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management. You will participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners. You will use your clinical expertise to inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development.

Driver's License, Vehicle Required Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric rehabilitation. Experience working with SLP Assistants.
