Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Senior/Intermediate Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GST and PST tax regulations and be proficient in QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file GST and PST returns accurately and on time.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
Reconcile financial statements and assist in month-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide financial analysis and support to management as needed.
Assist in audits and prepare necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of GST and PST tax regulations.
Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
