We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Palliser as our new Maintenance Person with Ticket. As a Maintenance Person, you are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Colleague experience. A Maintenance Person would also be required to follow all company statutory and legal regulatory requirements during repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing any issues efficiently and effectively.

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance needs or safety hazards.

Monitor the building automation system to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including equipment inventory and work orders. (Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repair activities, work order and equipment inventory)

Assist with preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and minimize downtime.

Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs as needed.

Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal, landscaping.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to guest services.

Must be available to work weekends and overnights

Power Engineering certificate is an asset

Working knowledge of computerized Building Maintenance Systems is an asset

Minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge
