Recreation Attendant I

Offer recommendations on trail conditions, skill-level suitable gear, and local activities.
Kids Camp:
Organize activities and supervise up to 10 children ages 5 and up
Assisting Conference Services and Special events with functions as needed
Maintain a safe and fun environment for all children participating in activities
Welcome guests to the Health Club and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience
Ensure the Health Club area is clean and well maintained with adequate supplies in pool area and change rooms
Facilitate activities for all guests, social activities, holiday events, walks, campfires, and more
Assisting Conference Services and Special events with functions as needed
Boathouse (Summer):
Assist guests as they rent a canoe – taking payment, providing rules and basic canoeing instructions, helping guests into and out of the canoe
To adhere to all Environmental/Health and Safety policies and procedures as required
Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
Previous experience in recreation, health club & pools, child care or a similar environment will be an asset
Interest in health and physical activity, and enjoy working with children & families.
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
