The Position
The Education Coordinator coordinates peer-led education sessions. It supports peer facilitators by helping organize training opportunities and program logistics to ensure sessions are evidence informed, accessible, and responsive to community needs. Attendees of the Peer Education Program are people with lived and living substance use experience who are in need of certification to work in peer related fields.

Qualifications
- Grade 12
- One (1) year of recent experience in related, relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of learning styles and group dynamics with people who use substances.
- Experience with group and peer learning. Page 3 of 3
- Requires ability to handle cash and honoraria in line with program policies.
- Knowledge of harm reduction, OAT therapies, naloxone, and inclusive recovery models.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.
