Financial Officer (accounting and payroll)

Based in BC, but reporting to both the Senior Group Accountant in London and the Canadian Managing Director, we have an opportunity for a financial controller to cover all aspects of finance for our three Canadian subsidiaries. Duties will range from invoicing, credit control and accounts payable through to budgeting / forecasting and liaising with external advisors such as auditors and tax accountants.
The starting salary for this position is $110,000.00 CAD.

Performing variance analysis and providing financial reporting
Preparing annual audit file
Bank reconciliations
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
General bookkeeping
Credit control
Providing oversight of payroll and health insurance
Ensuring compliance with all government and tax authority requirements
Providing financial analysis on an ad-hoc basis
Managing a finance team
Training
