Director, Sales Development (Remote)

Together (an Absorb company) is looking for a driven, results-oriented Manager, Sales to build and lead our New Business Sales team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role is responsible for accelerating growth through new logo acquisition, developing a high-performing team of Account Executives, and expanding Together’s footprint with net-new customers.
The Manager, Sales will play a critical role in scaling Together’s go-to-market motion. You will recruit, train, and lead a team focused on winning new business, while also remaining hands-on with customers to close strategic opportunities. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing New Business Account Executive team focused on net-new logo acquisition

  • Own and drive performance against new revenue targets, including bookings growth and contribution to overall company revenue
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and continuously develop Account Executives to achieve and exceed performance expectations
  • Maintain accountability for key performance indicators, including percentage of reps hitting quota, pipeline coverage, win rate, and deal quality
  • Work directly with customers and prospects on strategic deals, acting as an executive sponsor and supporting complex sales cycles
  • Apply and reinforce structured sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC and Challenger, to improve deal quality, forecasting accuracy, and close rates
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to align on demand generation, inbound quality, outbound strategy, and campaign effectiveness
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Enablement, and Leadership to refine sales processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and scale repeatable success
  • Build a strong sales culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric selling
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives that support Together’s growth, brand presence, and market expansion

4+ years of experience leading Enterprise or Mid-Market New Business Sales teams
  • Proven success building and scaling teams focused on new logo acquisition and revenue growth
  • Experience managing teams against revenue-based targets, including bookings, quota attainment, and pipeline performance
  • Demonstrated experience using MEDDPICC and Challenger sales methodologies
  • A strong track record of maintaining high win rates, consistent average deal sizes, and predictable sales execution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Account Executives, improve ramp time, and increase the percentage of reps achieving quota
  • Hands-on leadership style, comfortable engaging directly with customers and supporting high-impact deals
  • Strong understanding of consultative and enterprise sales motions
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to use performance data to coach effectively, forecast accurately, and drive results
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to HR, People, Talent, or L&D leaders is an asset
