FINANCE MANAGER Maternity Leave Contract – Aug. Full-time (40 hours/1.0 FTE)
Whistler Waldorf School is seeking an experienced and organized Finance Manager for a one-year Maternity Leave Contract with the possibility of accommodation for those outside of the Sea to Sky. This full-time role offers approximately 40 hours per week starting at $30-33/hour (based on qualifications and experience) and requires an in-office schedule Monday to Friday, either 8:00–4:00pm or 8:30–4:30pm. Interested candidates would need to be available in June for paid training and the contract would commence August 24, 2026, till July 9, 2027.
The Finance Manager is responsible for the full-cycle financial operaons of the school, including general accounng, accounts receivable and payable, payroll administraon, financial reporng, regulatory compliance, and support for budgeng and strat egic financial planning.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounng , Finance, Business Administraon, or a related field an asset is preferred although, candidates with a minimum of three years of bookkeeping experience will be considered. Non-profit or school experience is an asset.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to priorize workload and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microso Office (parcularly Excel) and accounng (QuickBooks) and payroll soware .
The ability to legally able to work in Canada and in possession of a current Criminal Record Check.
