As a representative of OSG, you will ensure that our courses are delivered consistently and with the highest quality. You will engage learners and draw on your experiences to reinforce learning outcomes, creating an environment that promotes safety and compliance.
Based on client needs, you will be delivering courses in-person from a client's place of business, from third-party locations or distance-learning from your home office.
The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and Saturday work. We are seeking a Health and Safety Trainer in Cambridge, Toronto, Mississauga or the surrounding areas. Facilitate in-person and online training courses to audiences across different industries while applying adult learning principles and best practices.
Ensure administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including timesheets, expenses, etc.
Provide feedback to internal teams to ensure seamless, accurate, and meaningful content delivery to clients.
Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.

• 1+ year experience in the Health and Safety Industry, including active participation on a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) preferred.
• Certification in JHSC, First Aid, or Adult Education is considered an asset.
• Understanding and knowledge of legislation, including but not limited to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Canadian Standards Association, the Canada Labour Code, and other applicable Health and Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus.
• Ability to travel across Southwestern Ontario, as needed to visit client sites.
• Home office space with reliable internet access.

Compensation: OSG offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health and dental coverage, and other perks. The hourly salary range for this role is $22-29/hour, with 35 hours guaranteed per week.
