Shift Cook
Aramark
The Food Prep Worker prepares, and portions food items and performs various duties in accordance with production requirements and Aramark sanitation standards. Support the culinary department as a Prep Cooks in synchronizing culinary food preparation tasks.
- Reads and follows recipes – demonstrates proficiency in culinary tasks/food items.
- Support and prepared food quantities for the banquets to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
- Prepares and plates final food products ensuring an attractive presentation is achieved.
- Ensures proper handling of all food products and equipment is maintained, to ensure food safety and kitchen standards are always adhered to.
- Able to work with the culinary team on the kitchen side for any extra support and complete schedule.
- At the end of the shift return all food items to designated storage areas - cover and date all perishable items.
- Able to works under supervision.
- Ensures recipes are followed to ensure quality standards are met.
Culinary Diploma or degree from an approved culinary training institution or in process of completing.
Food Handlers Certification.
Knowledge on the culinary side as an asset.
This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $22.51.
