Registered Nurse, Home Care Nurse

Euroworld Corporation Inc. is looking for multiple FT/PT/Casual Registered Nurse (Footcare Specialist), RNs, Specialty RNs (ED, OR, ICU), and Registered Practical Nurses must have active registrations and be in good standing (no registration restrictions) with the College of Nurses of British Columbia. They must possess the skills and qualifications to provide service within Long Term Care Homes, Hospital Settings.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, promoting health, preventing illness, and managing complex medical conditions. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks, requiring strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. As an advocate for patients, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.
Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms. Care Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices, to meet patients' needs and goals. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, medication management, and self-care techniques. Provide emotional support, address concerns, and promote patient autonomy and involvement in their care.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and therapists, to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care. Adhere to legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality and privacy.
Clinical Procedures: Perform a variety of clinical procedures, such as wound care, venipuncture, IV administration, catheterization, and other specialized procedures within the scope of nursing practice. Ensure proper technique, infection control, and patient comfort.
Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting their rights, preferences, and well-being. Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate care, performing life-saving interventions, and initiating appropriate emergency protocols.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and healthcare practices.
Professional Development: Stay updated with current nursing knowledge, advancements, and best practices. Pursue continuous professional development through education, training, and professional association involvement.
Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable jurisdiction.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
TB Test - Medical Report (within 6 months)
Valid First AID and CPR level C
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
Knowledge of infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols.
Ability to handle stress, emergencies, and challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
