Staff Accountant - Audit and Accounting

Our client office has an immediate opening for full-time Staff Accountant (Supervisor), Assurance
Independently, or under supervision, preparing financial statements and working papers for audit engagements;
Acting as an in-charge in leading review and audit engagements with junior staff members;
Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns.

Experience in public accounting
CPA designation
Proficiency in Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
Experience preparing audit, review, and compilation engagements
Ability to lead assurance engagements with junior staff
Experience preparing corporate and personal tax returns
Experience in a public accounting practice
Chartered Professional Accountant Designation (CPA)
Thorough understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
