Production Operator - Evening and Night Shifts

Schedule : Monday to Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm) - flexibility required to work weekends, schedule may vary based on business needs

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for receiving raw ingredients, preparing raw ingredients, assisting cooks and chefs during the cooking process, plating of meals, and fulfilling boxes for customer orders while following all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures. Kitchen, Plating, Pick and Pack, Shipping/Receiving as designated by the reporting manager

Ensure quality of product meets Company Standards

Ensure accuracy and efficiency at designated ship out stations

Clean and sanitize all equipment and work areas within the facility, ensuring all waste and packaging are properly categorized and disposed and/or recycled of as per instructions and training

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.

High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
• Familiar with MS Office and/or Google Apps and comfortable learning new technologies.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings and holidays as required
• 1 year experience in food production facility is an asset
• Level 1 First Aid is considered an asset.
