The Human Resources & Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting core HR activities programs and processes in collaboration with our operations team at MHNL and Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS) . This position focuses primarily on managing the complete end-to-end recruitment process for unionized employees within defined timelines.

Working closely with NLHS you will coordinate all aspects of recruitment including tracking and monitoring candidate information facilitating selection and hiring for unionized paramedicine medical transport and medical communications employees.

Human Resources Duties
Collaborate with leaders payroll and administrative staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
Support the effective use and maintenance of HR systems and databases.
Assist with accurate payroll preparation.
Perform other HR-related duties as required.

Recruitment Duties
Develop and post job advertisements on NLHSs ServiceNow and other relevant platforms.
Track and monitor candidate information throughout the recruitment cycle.
Maintain recruitment calendars and coordinate scheduling.
Complete all pre-employment checks and testing.

Post-secondary education in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is required.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative role supporting high-volume operations; recruitment experience preferred.
Solid understanding of HR practices policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
familiarity with NLHSs ServiceNow strongly preferred.

Customer-focused and process-oriented.
Skilled at building positive relationships with individuals at all levels.
