Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mould Maker to join our team. The Mould Maker will be responsible for creating and repairing molds used in the production of various products. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and excellent organizational skills.
Repairs and maintains moulds for injection blow, injection and extrusion blow molding areas.
Build and repair moulds used in the manufacturing process.
Debug moulds to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop new mould designs.
Operate CAD software to design moulds.
Skilled in working with multiple cavity tooling built with P-20, stainless steel or aluminum materials.
Ensure moulds are built efficiently and within project timelines.
Keeps immediate work area in a clean, orderly condition.
Familiar with use and location of all safety equipment, fire exits, emergency procedures and fire extinguishers.
Reports unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
Mould Maker apprenticeship and minimum of 8 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mechanical knowledge is essential for mould creation and repair.
Proficiency in CAD software for mould design.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in debugging moulds to meet quality standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
