CPG Food Senior Sales Assistant
Yumi Organics is looking for a Senior Sales Assistant with preference to experience in FMCG industry. We are looking for a very well organized and detail-oriented individual who can think a few steps ahead to ensure great support to our in-house sales team. We hope to find an individual who is a problem solver, critical thinker and be able to work well under pressure while juggling multiple tasks and accounts. Our vision is to become the brand name known for Overnight Oats and to build out this subcategory of cereal as the number one leading brand. We are currently sold in over 3500+ retail stores across Canada, including Walmart, Loblaws, Metro, Save on Foods and Sobeys. Our products are also sold on Amazon and our own E-commerce platforms. Our territories to focus on this year is the US and Australian Markets.
We are a Montreal-based Overnight Oats company founded by a certified nutritionist, whose goal is to make healthy eating easy, fun and delicious, starting with the most important meal of the day: breakfast! ;) We are the first in Canada to launch a line of Overnight Oats to retail, and we are very excited to be the first to launch a line of Probiotic Trail Mixes & Super Seeds in Canada as well! In 2024 we launched into the hot oatmeal space and caffeinated energy bars which increased our channel expansions.

Be the back-office sales support to our in-house sales team. Execute proper onboarding for all new accounts, new products and new projects.
Enter information into our ERP system for new accounts and products and ensure all details on customer are correct and up to date.
Be the link from sales team to supply chain, R&D and product team to ensure new clients are properly serviced on time.
Keep an updated product, pricing list and customer databases.
Manage client portals to keep up to date, and pull relevant information for sales.
Prepare samples requested by sales team to sent to clients and potential partners.
Assist in scheduling meetings and preparing sales presentations.
Schedule travel and accommodations for sales team to meet clients.
Experience with CRM software to help sales team maintain relevant follow ups.
Able to do basic market research to support sales in decision making and presentations.
Ensure billbacks validated between sales and accounting.
Able to create reports to sales team to support in identifying sales by account, promo results and white space reports. Track performance and flag issues to account managers.
Be the link between sales and supply chain team to ensure all orders are processed, and support in handling situations of inventory shortages
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure our office is always stocked.
Responsible for logistics, organization, samples and flights for B2B tradeshows with marketing team support.
General administrative and any other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, meet deadlines and be dependable while staying flexible.
Experienced and proficient with MS Office, Excel, PPT as well as various online platforms to work with distributors and brokers.
Great with numbers and accurate data management.
Bilingual in English and French is a must.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
