Laboratory Technician (Weekend)

In this position you will have a unique opportunity to work with patients performing phlebotomy but also in all core disciplines Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine at a regional hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in urinalysis, chemistry, hematology or transfusion medicine is an asset.
