Technical Sales Representative (home-based)

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage and grow a high-value industrial territory in the Regina and Estevan area. This is a consultative, "trusted advisor" role within the Downstream division, focusing on specialized chemical applications for oil refineries, hydrogen plants, and large-scale manufacturing. You will be the primary point of contact for complex water treatment solutions, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability for your clients.

High Autonomy: Work remotely with a home-based office and a company-provided vehicle (SUV or Truck) for personal and professional use.

Focus on "Total Value Delivered," helping major industrial players reduce their water and energy footprint.

Stability & Growth: Join a global leader in water and hygiene technology with a robust R&D pipeline and AI-driven monitoring tools.

Includes a base salary of $100,000 – $110,000, a 20%+ performance bonus, a gas card, and full vehicle + maintenance.

Manage a portfolio of established industrial accounts, acting as a technical consultant for water treatment processes.

Conduct regular on-site sampling and testing of boiler water, cooling systems, and wastewater to ensure peak performance.

Identify and sell new applications and specialty chemical solutions within existing accounts to improve client ROI.

Partner with Field Service Reps to monitor site conditions and prevent corrosion, fouling, or system downtime.

Communicate technical value to plant managers, engineers, and operations teams.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Engineering OR an Advanced Technical Diploma (e.g., Chemical Engineering Technologist).

Experience: 3–7+ years of technical sales or field service in Industrial Water Treatment.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with boiler/cooling tower chemistry, wastewater treatment, and specialty chemicals (flocculants/coagulants).
