Are you passionate about supporting the student experience The School of Business is seeking a current SAIT student currently enrolled in a School of Business program (or registered for the upcoming semester) to join our team as a Learner Experience Assistant.
This paid student role offers a mentorship-focused skill-building opportunity to gain hands-on experience in student engagement event planning communications and data tracking. Reporting to the Manager Learner Experience and working closely with staff and student leaders students will help deliver programs and initiatives that keep students informed connected and supported throughout their journey.
As an integral member of the Learner Experience team youll contribute directly to initiatives that foster community belonging and success within the School of Business and across SAIT. Assist with planning promotion setup and facilitation of School of Business events projects and programs that foster engagement and belonging (e.g. Support the coordination of student initiatives that promote community leadership and professional development.
Create and edit content for internal and external communication channels (e.g. newsletters LaunchPad etc. ) Collaborate with student leaders and other team members to gather stories visuals resources for sharing across the School of Business community.
Assist with the recruitment onboarding scheduling and engagement of Student Ambassadors and other volunteers.
Collect track and analyze engagement data and feedback from events projects and programs.
Contribute to team meetings with ideas from a student perspective and support process improvements that strengthen the student experience.
Must be a currently enrolled full-time SAIT student in a School of Business program.
Must have completed at least one semester at SAIT and be in good academic standing.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams Excel Word SharePoint); experience with MailChimp and Canva is an asset.
Experience using MailChimp and Canva is an asset.
Ability to balance academic responsibilities with part-time work.
Availability during the day with flexibility for occasional evening events.
Hourly rate: $18.22
