Logistics Coordinator (Transport)

Training, development, and growth opportunities
Facilitate the shipping of products utilizing EDI,SAP,MRP systems and customer portals, as required
Arrange transportation and deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
Receive products and coordinates delivery
Take steps to avoid quality control issues
Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
Oversee inventory of finished goods
Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down, where possible
Streamline shipping and transportation processes
Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a logistics coordinator/similar role, including overseas shipments
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Computer-savvy with working knowledge of logistics software/SAP
Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of office/plant team members, management, senior executives, and external parties
Action-oriented, flexible, dedicated and committed
