Purchasing Assistant (Full-Time Permanent)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Buying Assistant who is passionate about fashion, trend-aware, and eager to contribute to the buying process from start to finish. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Buying Team, and for the right candidate, may also include responsibilities in visual merchandising . We're open to full-time or part-time arrangements and are happy to shape the role around the strengths of the right person. Collaborate with the Buying Team to curate seasonal collections aligned with our brand and customer profile
Research emerging trends, customer feedback, and market data to inform buying decisions
Participate in vendor meetings, showroom visits, and virtual appointments
Track incoming styles and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery
Help evaluate product performance and customer demand to influence future buys
Assist with pricing strategy, assortment planning, and product presentation
Participate in the development of seasonal floor plans or product displays (if applicable)
1-3 years experience in a retail buying

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Shopify or inventory systems is a plus
• French language skills are a strong asset
