Education Assistant - Special Needs

This Educational Assistant position is crucial for supporting children with exceptional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, in academic and physical activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with Autism and developmental challenges
- Help implement educational and behavioral programs
- Participate in swimming activities as needed
- Provide physical assistance, including lifting and toileting
- Support teachers and track student progress
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma in Developmental Services or Child and Youth Work
- Experience with special needs children is essential
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus
- Knowledge of AAC or assistive technologies is desirable
- Training in Crisis Intervention methods is beneficial
