Are you looking to earn some extra money and gain valuable experience working with students? The Tutor in the Classroom Student Success Initiative supports all Niagara Catholic secondary schools in offering extra help to students who are not yet achieving the provincial standard in mathematics and/or literacy. Secondary Student Success Teams will schedule tutors to support secondary students and/or classes that are facing barriers to success.
The successful tutor candidate(s) will have completed a university degree or be currently enrolled in a university program.
Possess a strong understanding of secondary school mathematics
Provide numeracy/literacy support for emerging learners in consultation with Student Services Staff, Classroom Teacher, Educational Resource Teacher and/or Student Success Teacher
Tutor(s) will be scheduled based on their availability and school needs between the hours of 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Tutors will work in an assigned school for the entire 2025-26 school year.

RATE OF PAY: $20.00 per hour
