As a Claims Casualty Adjuster , you will manage casualty claims of minor to moderate complexity, including minor litigated auto bodily injury, physical damage liability (PDL), and minor commercial general liability (CGL) claims. Some files may involve litigation. Your work ensures claims are handled efficiently and fairly, directly impacting customer satisfaction and Gore Mutual’s financial health. This role is a critical step toward developing the skills needed to progress to Senior Claims Representative, Casualty.

Handle minor to moderate level casualty files for Auto, PDL and CGL
Thoroughly investigate claims, collecting casualty-specific details
Attend mediations, pretrial, trials and small claims court actions where applicable; some travel may be required
Negotiate and settle claims within authority limits
Provide quality reporting and reserving analysis on claims files
Formulate reserves based on analysis of injury, ultimate probable outcome
Formulate settlement analysis; low/med/high settlement ranges and develop a plan to control outcome
Minimum 2-3 years claims handling, some casualty exposure preferred.
Knowledge of Auto and Property claims preferred.
