Our company is looking for a Meat store Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • May perform the same duties as workers supervised;
  • Sell merchandise to customers ensuring that best customer service is provided;
  • Train new sales staff;
  • Ensure food storage conditions are adequate;
  • Manage specified inventory and order stock;
  • Authorize payments and the return of merchandise;
  • Complete paperwork, along with other tasks;
  • Perform paper work and prepare reports for opening and closing the store;
  • Assign duties to staff and prepare work schedules;
  • Supervise, monitor, oversee and co-ordinate activities of company workers such as retail sales associates and meat cutters;
  • Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages;
  • Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness;
  • Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and cash flow;
  • Manage inventory, keep records of sales and determine amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary education is required;
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a retail sector is required;
  • Good communication skills in English are required.
