Meat store Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Meat store Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised;
- Sell merchandise to customers ensuring that best customer service is provided;
- Train new sales staff;
- Ensure food storage conditions are adequate;
- Manage specified inventory and order stock;
- Authorize payments and the return of merchandise;
- Complete paperwork, along with other tasks;
- Perform paper work and prepare reports for opening and closing the store;
- Assign duties to staff and prepare work schedules;
- Supervise, monitor, oversee and co-ordinate activities of company workers such as retail sales associates and meat cutters;
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages;
- Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness;
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and cash flow;
- Manage inventory, keep records of sales and determine amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary education is required;
- 2-3 years of previous experience in a retail sector is required;
- Good communication skills in English are required.
