Senior Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develops custom client side components of web pages and sites;
- Lead design meetings and kick off meetings to give team members all information and support needed to deliver successfully;
- Develops cross platform mobile responsive emails;
- Develops cross platform desktop, mobile and/or responsive web sites;
- Experiments with and evaluate new technologies;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement; develop and implement solutions to drive iterative change and achieve business impact;
- Accurately translate designs from creative department to HTML/CSS;
- Evaluate the current system architecture to ensure that all code has been tested, is in the right place and is of good quality;
- Producing, testing and deploying code / solutions as required;
- Operates independently or as a member of a team as appropriate for individual projects;
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the engineering team, motivating team members with your positive energy and influential attitude;
- Write quality code to complete units of work and contribute to the successful, on-time shipment of software.
Requirements:
- MVC,
- Experience implementing Risk and Actuarial Solutions;
- Strong experience with Microsoft development and tooling stacks: .NET, C#
- Strong Business Architectural and Process design skills;
- Entity Framework;
- SQL, C/AL, & C/Side development;
- Flexible and agile, adapting quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment;
- Ability to execute tactically and strategically, both as a player and as a coach;
- Excellent technical proficiency (React, Node.js, AWS);
- Java 8+ (Expert);
- spring integration;
- Demonstrated leadership experience (perhaps a project, a team, a squad, etc.);
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues;
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to act calmly and diplomatically under pressure;
- Proven architecture experience in a complex, large organization, TOGAF certification an asset.
