Our company is looking for a Internal Communications Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing management communication plans for businesses;
  • Create and execute strategic internal communications plans for Canadian employees;
  • Manage communication and design agencies to produce deliverables on time and on budget;
  • Oversee rollout and localization of global comms initiatives and change-management plans;
  • Support the integration of recent acquisitions into the different EL business lines with strong communication and transformation initiatives;
  • Develop and execute engaging internal communications across the U.S. Electrification (EL) business, business lines, and related functions;
  • Assist with internal social media management;
  • Write news articles, posts, blogs, and announcements for various internal communications channels;
  • Build strong working relationships with HR to support the Electrification people strategy;
  • Create engaging written and visual messaging to motivate and inspire employees;
  • Manage communications projects with high detail and accuracy from start to finish;
  • Partner with corporate functions to assist with functional communications;
  • Support the development of an employee communications strategy and execution of the strategy;
  • Ensure internal messages are communicated to employees in a clear, timely and effective manner, using a highly engaging writing style and format;
  • Review and edit content drafted by internal stakeholders and make recommendations to ensure messaging is consistent with internal strategy and tone.

Requirements:

  • Ability to translate complex business information into engaging content;
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral;
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Applications, Igloo an asset;
  • Strong team player;
  • Proven ability to create content and craft key messages related to employee/human resources matters;
  • Excellent writer with a passion for learning;
  • Self-starter, able to work with general direction and exercise independent judgment.
