Controller/Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Controller/Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Insuring conformity with CNESST and Revenu Quebec of external labour suppliers;
- Producing required reports for year end process with external auditors;
- Entering invoices into accounting system;
- Producing checks;
- Bank Reconciliations;
- Monthly accounts reconciliation;
- Accounts payable;
- Answering incoming calls (occasionally);
- Producing monthly taxes reports (GST- PST);
- Management and payment of external labour agencies bills.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with accounting systems;
- Good understanding of the manufacturing environment and of associated costs;
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of internal controls;
- Good knowledge of excel;
- Bachelor’s in accounting or in finance.
