Our company is looking for a computer system manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage annual budget for computer operations;
- Develop, implement and manage system design, server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes;
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) departments and companies;
- Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company or project;
- Train and supervise new staff;
- Diagnose and provide solutions to recurring problems that require special attention;
- Write coding system that fulfil customs’ requirements;
- Setup and revise training program for staffs;
- Evaluate systems regularly to ensure proper operation of the IT infrastructure and recommend or implement any changes or improvements;
- Plan, arrange and control activities of computer systems analysis section;
- Plan, organize, manage, monitor and evaluate the different activities related to computer systems and electronic processing of information;
- Identify customers’ needs and establish computer systems accordingly to provide a highly efficient and accurate service;
- Establish rules and procedures to enable the proper implementation of computer systems;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems development and operations;
- Maintain a smooth system operation on daily basis by providing and overseeing technical support and by troubleshooting any system errors.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of systems analysis and technical management;
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in computer or information technology related field;
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer engineering, or related field is required;
- A university degree or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or in a related field;
- Well organized, have good oral and written communication skills;
- Three or more years of supervisory experience in computer or information technology related field is required;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, team- collaborating skills;
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business administration, commerce or engineering is required.
